DCC-EX ready shield

Robot shop wasn’t on the official DCC-EX retailer list. But it looks like MakerFabs worked out a spot on the Robot Shop site for this item. They can be hard to come by. So it’s nice one of the bigger IoT shops have them on hand.

It just works and works well.

Built a DCC++EX with Arduino and motor shield. I was using a loose ESP8266 but when I saw this shield was available I purchased immediately, Thanks RobotShop. Would easily buy again.

I bought it for a model trains project

I bought it for a model trains project. I am assembling a dcc++ ex controller. This is the Shield recommended for this project.

Just doesn't work

I've followed the examples included here (which are not the clearest instructions) and spent hours searching for alternative solutions. Every time I get errors like the wifi module not being present, or ESP not responding. Very frustrating to waste time on this. Comment RobotShop: Thank you for your review, Corey. We have forwarded your comment to the Makerfabs team who have sent you an email.
