The LIGPOWER V804 KV170 12S Brushless Motor for VTOL Drone is engineered for advanced propulsion systems in VTOL, multirotor, and fixed-wing drones. This motor is optimized for use with a 12S battery, operating within a voltage range of 42 to 52 volts, and features a KV rating of 170. It is designed to withstand high temperatures, with a magnet temperature resistance of Class E 150℃ and enamelled wires rated at Class C 220℃. The motor's stator technology includes anti-rust treatment and high temperature-resisting coatings, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding conditions.

The motor's configuration is 24N28P, and it is capable of handling a peak current of 115A continuously for up to 180 seconds, delivering a maximum power output of 5200W under these conditions. It is equipped with imported 6901ZZ bearings and has an IP rating of IP35, indicating its resistance to dust and water ingress. The motor's rotor dynamic balance standard is maintained at ≤5mg, contributing to its smooth and efficient operation.

With a shaft diameter of 12 mm internally and 8 mm externally, the motor is designed for precision and stability. The idle current at 18V is 2.7A, and it is recommended to be paired with a FLAME 180A 12S V2.0 ESC for optimal performance. Weighing 560g without cables and 710g with cables, the motor's internal resistance is measured at 33mΩ, ensuring efficient energy use.
