Have a Litter Robot 3, a few years old. It started having a blinking blue light (indicates drawer is full) after every cycle. Looked into what could be the problem, most common recommendation I found was that the DFI might need replacing. This was a much more inexpensive fix than getting a new Litter Robot, and it (plus the pinch pins, which I also ordered), were exactly the fix needed. There is an easy-to-follow, step-by-step video online that shows you how to change this yourself at home. Worked beautifully.

New and improved part
Although it was such a big ticket item, my little robot is crucial for me to love my cats. They are very picky about having a clean litter box. Unfortunately, it is very damp where I live and I had the pinch circuit board go out once before. It is a somewhat easy replacement if you watch a video. I am so excited that they redesigned the part. The new parts are protected in some sort of plastic so I don't think I will have to replace it again. It took a while because the part was on back order, but I am so happy to get it and my litter robot is working so well. Thank you for improving it.

Glad I read the reviews and ordered the pinch pins too, thanks Tracy! The product was easy enough to install and seems to fix my issue with the inappropriate full bin notification. I was unclear based on the description and picture if the plastic housing was included, luckily it came with my order.

If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way.
