Motoron M1T256 Single I2C Motor Controller (Header Pins Soldered)
Compact design with pre-soldered headers
Controls a single bidirectional, brushed DC motor
Wide motor supply voltage range: 4.5 V to 48 V
Features reverse-voltage protection and a logic voltage range of 3.0 V to 5 V
The Motoron M1T256 Single I2C Motor Controller (Header Pins Soldered) is a compact device designed to control a single DC motor via an I²C interface. This controller allows for the connection of multiple Motoron controllers to the same I²C bus, thereby facilitating the expansion of a system with additional motors. The M1T256 model is compatible with motor supply voltages ranging from 4.5 V to 48 V and can deliver continuous output currents of up to 2 A. This particular model comes with pre-soldered headers.
The Motoron M1T256 controller is designed to control a single bidirectional, brushed DC motor using an I²C or TTL serial (UART) interface, respectively. Measuring 0.6 x 0.6 inch, it is compatible with motor supply voltages from 4.5 V to 48 V and can deliver continuous output currents up to 2 A. The controller can be configured to operate on a single I²C or serial bus, thereby enabling independent control of multiple motors. Unlike many motor drivers, the Motoron controllers do not require any PWM outputs or timers on the microcontroller. Instead, they only require a single I²C or UART interface, regardless of the number of Motoron controllers connected.
The M1T256 model features an I²C interface and comes with pre-soldered headers. It is equipped with a single motor control channel, which allows for the control of one bidirectional brushed DC motor per Motoron. The controller supports a wide motor supply voltage range of 4.5 V to 48 V (absolute maximum), with a recommended maximum nominal battery voltage of approximately 36 V. It can deliver a maximum output current per motor of 2 A continuous, 6.4 A peak for less than one second. The controller also offers reverse-voltage protection on the motor power supply (down to -40 V) and a logic voltage range of 3.0 V to 5 V.
Please note that the Motoron M1T256 Single I²C Motor Controller (Header Pins Soldered) has reverse-voltage protection on the motor power supply (down to -40 V). It is also important to note that the logic voltage range is 3.0 V to 5 V.

If you are not satisfied for whatever reason with a Product you bought on the Site, it is possible to return it for refund within 30 days from the date you received it unless otherwise indicated in the Product listing. You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
