The SenseLoRa High Sensitivity LoRa Receiver w/ Long Range Antenna (868M) is a sophisticated device engineered to function seamlessly with Makerfabs SenseLora modules. Its primary function is to receive LoRa signals from the surrounding environment and forward them to a computer. This allows for the data to be displayed, recorded, and analyzed via the computer interface.
The receiver is designed for ease of use, with a plug-and-play feature that allows it to be simply plugged into a PC USB port to begin receiving LoRa data at the same frequency. This eliminates the need for complex setup procedures and makes it user-friendly.
One of the standout features of this receiver is its high-sensitivity antenna, which comes with long wires. This design allows for the antenna to be installed outside of a building, thereby maximizing its ability to receive LoRa data over extended distances. When tested with the Makerfabs air monitor, it was found that the receiver could function effectively over a distance of at least 3km, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including those in farming.
Furthermore, the receiver is equipped with the capability to display and record LoRa data via any COMM port or store it in an SD card. Additionally, it is compatible with the MF LoRa Receiver Python for storage to Excel, facilitating data analysis.
