  • Operates efficiently in any orientation

The ServoCity Heavy-Duty Linear Servo (Position Control, 12-24V, 112lb Thrust, 0.6"/sec, 12" Stroke) is a sophisticated device engineered to respond to PWM signals, distinguishing it from traditional linear actuators that require motor controllers with feedback loops. This linear servo is designed for seamless integration with a servo controller, eliminating the need for additional tuning or complex wiring. Its advanced internal circuit board is compatible with a wide range of servo controllers, including wired and wireless systems, as well as microcontrollers like Arduino. The closed-loop feedback mechanism allows precise control over the extension tube's position by continuously monitoring the internal potentiometer's readings and adjusting the motor's power supply accordingly. The device is powered through a male XT30 connector, which requires a 12V input with a minimum of 5A, and it conveniently supplies 5V to the servo controller, enabling both components to operate from a single power source. The linear servo's ACME screw mechanism ensures efficient linear thrust and can withstand significant static loads without back-driving, even when power is removed. Constructed from durable metal, the servo offers exceptional reliability and can function in any orientation, providing equal force in both pulling and pushing directions. The mounting clevis near the motor is fixed, while the one on the extension tube can be rotated to accommodate different application requirements. Note: Ensure proper power supply and connection to prevent operational hazards.
