The ServoCity Heavy-Duty Linear Servo (Position Control, 12-24V, 112lb Thrust, 0.6"/sec, 6" Stroke) is a sophisticated device engineered to respond to PWM signals, distinguishing it from traditional linear actuators that require a motor controller with feedback capabilities. This linear servo is designed for seamless integration with a servo controller, eliminating the need for additional tuning or complex wiring. Its advanced internal circuit board is compatible with a wide range of servo controllers, including wired, wireless, and microcontroller-based systems like Arduino. The closed-loop feedback mechanism allows precise control over the servo's position within its stroke range by interpreting signals from the servo controller. The device features a male XT30 connector that requires a 12V input with a minimum of 5A, and it efficiently powers both the linear servo and the servo controller through a shared power source. Constructed with metal for enhanced durability, the linear servo can replace pneumatic and hydraulic systems, offering robust performance in both pulling and pushing directions.
