The Sherline Crosslide Accessory Plate Instructions provide guidance on enhancing the functionality of a lathe when used with a vertical milling column. The accessory plate increases the thickness of the lathe table by half an inch, thereby reinforcing the table to withstand greater forces during milling operations. This additional thickness also serves as a protective tooling plate, safeguarding the lathe table's surface from potential damage. The plate is securely attached to the table using recessed cap screws and T-nuts, and it is recommended to remove it during lathe turning to allow for maximum part diameter and standard tool post usage.
In milling applications, the crosslide accessory plate is advantageous for extending the mill table's length. This extension is particularly beneficial when mounting the rotary table vertically, as it prevents the loss of usable travel on the table. When used in conjunction with the adjustable tailstock, the accessory plate ensures that the centerline height of both the rotary table and the tailstock remains consistent, which is crucial for precise machining operations.

You must first advise the Vendor associated with your order in your account to obtain a return authorization (‘’RA’’) number before returning a Product. (‘’RA’’) numbers are valid for 30 days, within which time the returned Products should be received by the Vendor. No returns will be accepted without having previously obtained an (‘’RA’’) number. The Product must then be returned in its original packaging (in perfect condition for resale) with its receipt and your (‘’RA’’) number. Reimbursement will be denied for any Products which do not conform to the above mentioned conditions.
Build-it-yourself Robot Parts are not refundable once assembled. Robots & Kits requiring assembly or soldering are also not refundable once assembled, soldered or modified in any way. All sales of robotic software and apps are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged. Returns are not accepted on special orders and clearance items except when they are found defective, in which case the Product may be repaired or replaced at the Vendor’s discretion. 20% Restocking fees may apply if you are returning a large quantity of the same Product that was ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer.
Please note that all items will be reimbursed within 7 to 14 days of receiving the Product (shipping fees excluded). You must also cover the cost of returning the Product. Shipping fees will only be refunded if the return is a result of a shipping error on our part. Cleaning fees of USD 100 may also be charged if a domestic robot is returned and has not been properly cleaned.
