Tailored for Sherline-specific use
The Sherline Limit Switch Assembly for Chucker Lathe, Ballscrew, Y-Axis is a specialized component designed to enhance the functionality of Sherline machines. This assembly includes a limit switch equipped with a pigtail and connector, along with the necessary mounting hardware. It is engineered to integrate seamlessly with Sherline's proprietary software and wiring configurations, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
This limit switch assembly is specifically tailored for use with Sherline machines and is not compatible with stock MASSO boards. The assembly is part of a system that includes optical encoders and speed control cables, all designed to work in harmony with Sherline's custom controller board. The controller board, developed in collaboration with MASSO, is exclusive to Sherline Products, and its software is uniquely configured for Sherline's analog speed control system.
Installation of the limit switch assembly may require drilling and tapping on the machine to accommodate the mounts. This retrofit process ensures that the limit switches are securely attached and function correctly within the Sherline system. The assembly is intended for users who seek to maintain or upgrade their Sherline machines with components that are specifically designed for compatibility and performance.
