The Unitree As2 X Quadruped Robot is a compact industrial-capability quadruped robot developed by Unitree Robotics, engineered to deliver professional-grade dynamic performance in a lightweight, portable platform. Weighing approximately 18 kg, it combines high-torque inner-rotor permanent magnet synchronous motors with industrial-grade crossed roller bearings to achieve a standing payload capacity of up to 65 kg and a continuous walking load of approximately 15 kg. The robot reaches speeds between 0 and 3.7 m/s in standard operation, with peak no-load bursts approaching 5 m/s, and handles terrain features including 40-degree slopes and 25 cm stair climbs. Built for demanding mixed-environment deployment, it carries an IP54 rating and operates reliably across a wide temperature range suited to outdoor industrial sites, campuses, and research facilities.

The As2 X integrates a sensor suite combining a 64–128-line industrial-grade LiDAR, an HD camera, a microphone, and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity to build a comprehensive picture of its surroundings and support stable autonomous navigation. The ISS 3.0 Intelligent Follow System enables centimeter-level positioning for consistent companion and side-follow behaviors in dynamic environments. Voice interaction capabilities, onboard lighting, and GPS and 4G connectivity (included, enabled with user authorization) expand its utility for field operations and human-robot collaboration scenarios.
