The SeeedStudio Crazyflie 2.1+ Version - Open Source Micro Quadcopter Drone is a compact and lightweight flying development platform, weighing only 27 grams and designed to fit in the palm of a hand. This versatile drone is equipped with both a low-latency, long-range radio and Bluetooth LE, allowing for control via a mobile device or a computer using a game controller. It is designed for ease of assembly, requiring no soldering, and features automatic expansion deck detection.

The Crazyflie 2.1+ is compatible with iOS and Android devices through Bluetooth LE, and with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems using Crazyradio PA or Crazyradio 2.0. It supports long-range radio communication, tested to exceed 1 km line-of-sight with the Crazyradio PA, and allows for wireless firmware updates. The dual-MCU architecture facilitates real-time logging, graphing, and variable setting, enhancing its utility for educational and research purposes.

The drone's upgraded battery and propellers contribute to a flight performance improvement of up to 15%. Its flexible expansion interface supports a variety of expansion decks, providing access to buses such as UART, I2C, and SPI, as well as PWM, analog in/out, and GPIO, making it an ideal platform for customization and development.
